We are a Vaccinating Practice
We require that all of our patients are immunized according to the current vaccine schedule recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics. All potential new patients must be up-to-date with their vaccines. We do not accept new families that do not vaccinate their children.
Welcoming Environment
We want our office to be a safe place for your family and as such we do not tolerate discrimination of any kind. Families come in many shapes, and we support those families.
We Practice as a Team
We encourage families to meet several providers, but children are not assigned to a specific doctor and parents can generally schedule with whomever they choose. Same-day appointments will be booked with the first available clinician. Our invaluable team of physician associates collaborates with our doctors to provide your family with the very best of care.

Pre-Natal Sessions
Please feel free to call our office if you have questions about our practice. If you prefer, call today to join us for a free prenatal session, where you will meet with one of our providers and have a chance to ask questions about our practice and the office.
Delivery
Once your baby is born, simply tell your obstetrician and the hospital staff that you have chosen Healthy Roots Pediatrics as your child’s pediatrician. Our office will be notified of your baby’s birth by the hospital staff. A hospital-based pediatrician or pediatric provider will care for your baby while he or she is there.
Insurance
Insurance companies generally allow only 30 days to add your newborn to your insurance plan. Please call ASAP to get this done. Once you receive your child’s card, please provide us with a copy. If you fail to add the baby to the plan, you will be financially responsible for any visits.
